The wine of Fly Gap are unique because they are fermented in house-made concrete fermenters. Their style is unique to the world and unique to Mason County. Experience the land and Mason culture through each glass of wine.

"It all started with an exquisite glass of wine with dinner 50 years ago in rural England." remembers the Parrs.  Visitors love the feeling of home when they visit Parr Tasting Room just off the Mason Square.  Dry red wines are a specialty of this grower winery.

Murphy Creek Cellars was born out of love for great wines.  They have a passion for finding and serving some of the best wine that Texas wine producers have created.  The selection is incredible and the cozy atmosphere is perfect for enjoying wine, cheese, and shopping for gifts.  Murphy Creek also offers ready to bake casseroles for enjoyment at home. 

In addition to a few small releases marketed under the Sandstone name, Sandstone Cellars features a number of wines form well-known producers such as Fall Creek Vineyards & McPherson Cellars.

While the vineyard is located just up the road from Mason in the tiny town of Pontotoc, the tasting room can be found on Main Street in Fredericksburg.  Stop by to sample Mason County wines before you hit the shops.

Short on time?  This is the place to stop.  With three wineries sampling out of one tasting room, you'll have the opportunity to try multiple wines from various wineries and vineyards across the state.

This winery devoted to 100% Texas grapes sources a portion of their fruit from Mason County grower Robert Clay Vineyards.  They are a popular destination in Stonewall, Tx.  The Swim Spot is a must try during the warm Texas Summers!  

When traveling to Mason from Austin, a stop at Perissos Vineyards is a must.  One of the most beautifully cultivated vineyards you will see coupled with a passion for sustainability makes for some impressive wines.  The Italian Stallion is a must try!

Yates Winery, a baby brother to the popular Spicewood Vineyards, was recently named "One of the Best New Wineries in The US" by Tasting Table.  It's a must stop when traveling Hwy 290.  

Robert Clay Vineyards in the tiny community of Streeter, Texas is the first Texas commercial grower of Touriga Nacional. Cultivating a wine grape variety that has no history in a new environment requires a bit of innocent naiveté, a calm understanding of self, and a complete disregard for punditry. You can taste their grapes in wines produced by Southold Farm and Cellar & Lewis Wines.
